(Sorry if this post sucks badly. We really need to just get some RPs going. BTW, the year is 1911.)
"I'm willing to give you 3 slabs of deer meat and the skins to go with for your bear." Russell told the man, his heavy french accent very pronounced. He gave the man a cold stare and he didn't smile, his face the picture of seriousness. He'd learned a long time ago that you couldn't let the people you were negotiating with think you weren't serious about your offer.
The man let out an exhale of hair, spittle getting caught in his beard, before saying somewhat indignantly,"W-What! That bear is a big'gun, it's worth at least twice that." He couldn't hundred percent understand what the man was saying through his muddled talk but he got the gist of it.
"Look I'm willing to give you 4 slabs of deer meat instead but that's it." He told the man. He had been bargaining with this guy for some time and just wanted to finish with him already. Plus it was nearing nightfall and the post would be shutting down soon. "Now if you're not going to take the offer I'm going to have to kindly ask you to leave." He moved his right hand and let it rest on his Double-Action revolver, warning the man not to cause a big commotion.
"Alright, give me the meat."The man agreed in a sour tone. Russell went and got the wrapped deer meat and skins that the man wanted. He made sure to give him the smallest packaged meat that he had, just to spite the man for taking up so much of his time. The man took his meat and skins and then walked out, muttering to his self.
Since Russell was the only employee of the Trading Post to work there for years he was given the 'privilege' of locking up the place. He made sure to lock up all of the guns and the merchandise. Once he was done he left and headed to the small campfire where everyone went to relax and drink.
