Characters Name: Russell LaCroix

Age: 24
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Plot Availability: PID
Profession: He works at the trading post in Manzanita Post but makes most of his money by hunting animals, especially harder to catch ones like Beavers.
Rank: [N/A]
Race: French-Canadian
Physical: He's 6'4 and very muscular from working the small farm/ranch that his family owns and from hunting. He has some scars but none from anything that serious. He has a heavy French accent being as that the language he was first taught and was used most often where he'd live. He knows how to speak English good enough but do mess up on some words.

When hunting he wears loose black leather pants tucked into his boots and a wool long-sleeved shirt. He also wears his hunting vest that has fur on the inside to keep warm and a dark brown duster coat. Also when hunting he has a satchel he uses to keep the meat he collects.
Weaponry: Bolt-Action Rifle, Double-Action Pistol, and his hunting knife.
Skills:
History: Russell's father died when he was really young so he never knew him at all. As a result he had a very strong relationship with his mother, being as she was the only parent that he'd ever known. When he was 16 his mother got very sick and needed constant help so he stayed with her and worked the family ranch, even though he wanted to try and make it on his own. She died of her sickness when he was about 20 years old. Deciding that there wasn't a point in staying in at home he let his sister and her husband take over the ranch and he left for America and eventually settled down in the West Elisabeth region. He got a job working at the Trading Post in Manzanita Post but makes most of his money from hunting and trapping animals for people, which is the only thing he really loves to do.
Family:
(Mary Saint LaCroix) - (Deceased. Russell's mother. Russell was very close with his mother, being the only real parent that he ever really had. Mary raised her children by herself because of her husband's death. She died recently of disease.)
(Francis LaCroix) - (Deceased. Russell's father. He died from a bear attack when Russell was only about 4 months old. Consequently, Russell never really knew his father.)
(Buddy Parker) - (Presumably Deceased. He used to work on Russell's family ranch but quit suddenly. Russell and him had a good mentor type relationship. He's the person who taught him how to hunt.)
(Azilda Basset) - (Alive. 27. Azilda is Russell's sister. They have a close brother-sister relationship but they do have arguments about her husband. She lives on the family ranch in Quebec with her husband.)
(William Basset) - (Alive. 38. Azilda's husband. Russell greatly dislikes him, thinking he's arrogant because he has a good education and went to college. )
Sample RP post:
Russell reached in to one of the pocket's on his hunting vest and puled out a small bottle of bait. He emptied the contents and some sort of animal blood and piss splattered on to the ground. He then quickly ran away and crouched behind one of the sparse bushes. He hoped that all the noise he had made when running across the snow wouldn't deter any animals from appearing. Closing his eyes, he slowed down his breath and focused on his hearing. He could hear light skipping steps from coming from the East. He was just glad that it wasn't a dangerous animal, like a Grizzly and he'd guess it was probably some deer coming his way.
He reached a hand behind his back and quickly pulled out his favorite gun, his Bolt-Action Rifle. Aiming it eastward he waited for the animal to appear, his finger already on the trigger. Russell was not the best with guns so he didn't really have that many chances to miss. Just as he had suspected, about 4 deer happily trotted into the clearing and had no idea that some of them was about to die. Closing his left eye to help, he took aim at the biggest deer from the group and squeezed the trigger, hitting it directly in the head as he had wanted. Naturally, the other 3 started running but he managed to kill another one after slowing it down with a shot to it's back.
Having been crouching in the snow for a while his denim jeans had soaked through on some parts, leaving his legs a little numb and cold. He stood up and approached the first deer he'd shot with his hunting knife. He took out some string and wrapping paper and began to skin the deer. He'd been hunting for the majority of his life and was largely immune to the stank that wild animals gave out when freshly killed. Russell methodically collected the meat from the deer and wrapped it inside of the wrapping paper. He hated to kill an animal and waste parts of it so he also liked to make his own bait. Reaching inside his hunting vest again he pulled out an empty small bottle and dipped it into the deers blood, filling it. Once he was done with the deer he went to the other one he'd shot and skinned it also. He then whistled for his horse and mounted it, heading back to Manzanita Post before a bear appeared.
