As soon as Trevor fell off of him Russell got up quickly, grunting at the slight pain in his back. He moved away from the other man, putting distance in between them and fingered his gun. He really didn't want to have to shoot Trevor though. He put his gun away when the other man admitted he didn't have any bullets.
"Well this Brian ain't here so you should stop attacking people for no good reason."He told the man, his accent becoming heavier in annoyance. He moved closer to the table when Trevor sat down. He was very surprised when the man apologized."Well I didn't want to have to fight you anymore so it's good you apologized."He said, a little confused.
He hesitantly picked up the knife that Trevor had dropped on the table and put it in his own knife holder. He knew that the knife was Trevor's only real weapon. He stood there kind of awkwardly when he started crying. He didn't trust Trevor, not one bit, but that didn't mean he completely disliked him and he couldn't help feeling a little odd when he started crying.

Trevor had his head down on the table as tears continue to fall. "Listen mister, I don't know what you do, but it definitely ain't this. If I fall back into a gang again, I'm gonna die." Even though he was drunk, he knew what he was saying. Brian, his old gang leader, was still alive after the shooting and was looking for new members.
He picks his body up and looks at Russell. "I don't know where you're going, but I'm going to Mexico. I need to leave this goddamn country." He gets gets up and stumbles a bit. If he's going to leave for Mexico, mind as well try and make some friends who aren't in the criminal business. "What are you doing later, mister?"
(hopefully this is getting somewhere?)

(Do you want them to sort of stick together or meet up again? Maybe Russell could go with Trevor or something.)
Russell was feeling very very awkward in the situation. He didn't like to see any cry, even if they had tried to attack him recently. Letting out a sigh he moved closer to the table before saying to Trevor, his French accent very heavy,"Maybe you should not join a gang and try living straight?" He honestly liked the other man and he didn't want him to die or anything.
"I'm probably going to leave soon and head back up to Manzanita Post."He answered Trevor. He didn't see the need in lying to him."You could come get some supplies before leaving for Mexico." Russell was interested in befriending the other man and that would involve meeting up again some time.

(yeah. i was thinking of him meeting with him at Manzanita thread after)
"Yeah, yeah. Manzanita." He tried to keep his stance by holding onto the beam in the saloon. "Yeah. I have uh some things to do, I'll meet you there later."
Trevor had a couple of things to do and one of those things is get money. At least $300 to make it to Mexico. Maybe he'll have "talk" with one of the Bollards. He wasn't looking for to that especially what after what happened last time. He pat his sides down and remembered Russell took his knife. He remembered he had a switchblade, his favorite, hidden in his left boot. He ain't getting that knife back after telling him he wanted to go straight.
"Yeah. I should get going." He started walking for the door but stopped. "and uh, sorry about trying to kill you and whatever."
He left the saloon and hopped onto his Turkmen and rode off in the direction of Pikes Basin. He mind as well get that done first.
